Ok, so good news and bad news with todays coffee! The good news is that I thankfully took a picture of my receipt from Jungle Jims, most likely assuming I'd be dumb enough to lose it (which I was,) and yesterdays coffee did in fact ring up for one dollar and nine cents! The bad news is that I also saw how much todays coffee was run up for... Six dollars. I paid six dollars for a canned cold brew latte. Even at the nicest, most yuppie coffee houses a 12 ounce cold brew latte is no more than five dollars, usually around four. What kind of insane shoes on hand land world are we living in where I spent my own money on a CROSS COUNTRY ROAD TRIP on six dollar coffee. There's no way, there's no way! The label on the shelf must have said three, I would not have bought it if I knew it was six dollars.

nutritional facts

And the name bugs me a bit too. Bones Coffee Company isn't my issue that's a rad name for a roaster. My issue is cold brew latte, a latte is an espresso drink, cold brew isn't espresso because it's not made with pressure or steam or anything of the sort. I mean, I don't know what else I would call it, but still! I also have an issue with the can, it's a printed label tacked onto a blank aluminum can, as opposed to the image being printed directly onto the can itself like every other drink we've tried. There's something under the label, too, a letter pokes out at the bottom. Removing the adhesive label it's just a manufacturer's tag. I was really hoping they were reusing cans, that would've been funny.

How's the taste? Well before drinking it I can tell you nothing would make this worth the cost. upon drinking it, nope. Nope, nope, nope, nope, it's got chunks in it. Chunks that floated to the top, no less! The bit of taste I got was... fine, high caffeine and sort of like the high brew cold brew I enjoyed. But, no, chunks are an instant turn off. I poured the rest out and there weren't any more chunks, but still! I don't care if it's undissolved cane sugar there shouldn't be any particulate in that can. Instant disqualification. Value, get real coffee instead.
