I forgot to mention with the last Wonda coffee, or rather I didn’t notice until the review had already gone to print, there’s a QR code on the back for a fan club? And I only know that because it says ‘Wonda Members Club’ above the code, and the writing next to it is in big bold red letters. So I scan the code, and it brings me to a page entirely in Japanese. I’m not having my expert do up the whole page for me, so I used auto translate and saw that between the first of March and 27th of August this year if I buy three drinks I can apply for some sort of prize. Woo. Prizes include speakers, earbuds, a steam gun, and 1000 points to a Quo card which as I understand it is a sort of credit card for certain stores? LINE also got mentioned, I’ve heard of that.

nutritional facts

I’m stalling a little bit. While the receipt didn’t make any specific point of this coffee being low sugar or espresso I’m sure you can’t blame me for being a little hesitant. I miss good coffee, and if this one isn’t good then I’m going to have some real doubts about this project and the next seven drinks ahead of me.

Upon drinking it, it’s not what I wanted. It’s not that signature canned coffee taste with the sugar and milk powder. But it’s not bad! It’s still a little low on sugar but not as bitter as the last Wonda, the cream and sugar balance is alright with just a bit of bitter. I can see why they call it a morning shot, it’s that sort of ‘wake up’ flavor profile you see with things like Folgers. Is that making any sense? Probably not. Have I ever drank Folgers? No but this can is red. Am I a good reviewer? Well that’s sort of a loaded question isn’t it?
