The motivation to write a review on coffee this morning is, wavering. The motivation to write is there but drinking coffee? Ehhhh. Forgive me if today’s writing is a little lacking. La Columbe, a brand you can find at most American supermarkets that try and go for a high-end appearance while charging more for the same products you get at the IGA for half the price. I got this one at earth fare, like yesterday’s, I’d say that at least that place has its organic, no bad ingredient pedigree to hold it up but this coffee is presumably the same at every store you can buy it from.

nutritional facts

Flavor? Good, but theres the tiniest bit of an aftertaste, sort of like flouride. It’s good, tastes good, but so expensive for such a small can! Forgive me, I don’t have anything interesting to say about this one.

Ok, I put it down for a bit to read a story a friend wrote and took another sip to finish out this review. It tastes like karo now? Like, straight up corn syrup, it goes down smooth like water, tastes like corn syrup, and has a sort of graininess to it. It’s not good! Worth pointing out that there’s no corn syrup in the drink at all, but a tiny bit of canola oil and cane sugar. I don’t know what’s making it taste like that. My guess is that oat milk comes before coffee on the ingredients label, meaning this is more cream than coffee, which is wild.

I’ve been waiting for a coffee thats simultaneously expensive and bad, and here it is! Don’t get this one, full stop.
